Drafts of the Girl - #11 Duck's Comical Life

Day 03: Friday, 13.42 p.m.

As I've written before, Duck is my funny friend, a Paradoxical Introvert.

Interesting thing about her is,

She and Grim reaper have coffee together every day.

Here are her misadventures:

  • Near death from a bee sting.
  • Motorcycle accident from slipping on an empty road.
  • Dislocated her knee from doing, well, nothing.
  • Rare skin allergy from sweating.
  • Had to go on braces with weak forearm muscles.
  • Near death again from another bee sting.
  • Mental issues—Has it all.
  • Gave death scare to people with Rash driving.
  • Nearly broke bones from slipping on someone's vomit.
  • Escaped freezing to death in Shimla.
  • Greeted Mumtaz by throwing up in front of her grave.
  • Another rare allergy from eating ice creams.
Also a Menace To Everyone Around
  • Forced me to read a suggestive book in the classroom—I involuntarily blushed like a tomato.
  • Persuaded a poor soul to read contemporary romance— Now her standards are high.
  • Introduced a specific genre of music into my life—I haven't been the same since.
  • Gave relationship advice - She has never been in one.
  • Killed an innocent goat - While learning to drive.
  • Committed a Heinous crime - Fried a chapatti roll filled with Ketchup.
Albeit perceived as silent by the world, she is in truth a wild, daring, outspoken, humorous, hopeless romantic. Like phantoms finding each other, we saw each other in the midst of chaos. She showed me a realm of soul-soothing music, heart-aching books, mind-boggling conspiracies, and horrendous reality.

Takeaway?

Despite having loads of misadventures, she still manages to bring smiles.

She is a ducking brave Duck.
